Andrea K. Niemi is a founding member and shareholder of Niemi, Jerabek & Kretchmer, P.A.   Niemi is one of Minnesota’s leading providers of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation, parenting consulting, early neutral evaluations, and arbitration.  Niemi also offers coaching for parents involved in family law matters.  Niemi has a broad range of experience in family law and juvenile law, and is a past president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (Minnesota Chapter), Friends of Children Foundation, and Collaborative Law Institute of Minnesota.  Niemi also serves as the Chair of the Minnesota Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Ethics Board.  Niemi has been selected as one of the Top 40 Family Law Attorneys in Minnesota, a Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law & Politics, and as one of the top 100 women attorneys in Minnesota.  Niemi is a frequent lecturer at various local and national continuing legal education seminars on a wide range of family, juvenile and Alternative Dispute Resolution topics.

Niemi holds a B.A. from Macalester College, and her JD from William Mitchell College of Law.  She has been admitted to practice in Minnesota since 1980, and is admitted to United States Federal Court and the United States Supreme Court.
