Zachary A. Kretchmer has substantial experience
representing clients in matters concerning custody,
child support, spousal maintenance, complex business
valuations, nonmarital tracing, paternity, domestic
abuse, and appellate work.
Zachary believes in a pragmatic, sensible and
cost-effective approach to family law, and utilizes the
courts only as a last resort. To that end, Zachary
regularly participates in mediation in order to mitigate
legal costs while still obtaining a result consistent
with his clients' wishes. However, sometimes
litigation is necessary, and in those cases Zachary is a
zealous and meticulous practitioner who will use his
command of the law and the particular facts of the case
to protect his client's interests.
Zachary often utilizes those who specialize in
areas fundamental to family law practice, such as
accountants, business valuators, and
psychologists. Not only is retaining these experts
typically cost-effective, their involvement also ensures
that his client's rights and responsibilities remain
well-defined and
appropriate.
